Senior Internal Auditor (m/f) – Europe
(Internal Audit Department (IAD) Mandate)

The IAD mandate is to ensure that all business units of the Company have adequate, efficient and cost effective financial systems including appropriate documentation, reporting, systems of internal control which are in compliance with Company Corporate policies and standards.
 

Job Description:

- Provides audit details to the Executive Director or Manager and local management on a daily basis;
- Executes assigned audit functions with due care and in a professional manner;
- Signs-off work ready for audit closing meeting with local management.
- Financial (approx. 45%), Operational, Special and Sarbanes Oxley (approx. 45%) audits
- Travel is required mostly in Europe (normally Monday to Friday, ranges between 50 and 90%)
- Reports to the Executive Director and/or Manager
 

Required Education, Experience and Skills:

- University or “Fachhochschule” degree with focus study in accounting / auditing / finance
- At least 3 - 5 years of professional experience in auditing / accounting / finance field
- Language skills (fluency): English and German, maybe Russian
- Initiative, Teamwork, Professionalism
- Punctuality, Confidentiality
 

Preferred Supplementary Education (not required)

- Accounting – CA, CGA, CMA (Canada), CPA (US), WP (Germany)
- Information Technology (IT) – CISA, CISSP, MSCE
- Other: CFE, CIA, CPIM, P.Eng. etc.
- Preferred Technical Knowledge: Microsoft Office®, Lotus Notes®, Team Mate® Audit Software, Audit Control Language® (ACL)
